One-Day NSS Camp on Environment Enrichment and Conservation
A one-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp was organized on 27th September 2025 in the college premises on the theme “Environment Enrichment and Conservation.” The event was jointly coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Santosh Hooda, Principal, and supervised by Dr. Priti Kumari, NSS Programme Officer (Unit–1) and Mrs. Monika, NSS Programme Officer (Unit–2).
The programme commenced with the welcome of the Chief Guest, Sh. Pradeep Kaushik (HCS), who addressed the gathering with an inspiring lecture on the importance of environmental conservation and the active role that youth can play in protecting natural resources. His words motivated the volunteers to become ambassadors of sustainability in their communities.
As part of the camp, various activities were conducted to create awareness among students about the environment. A Poster Making Competition showcased students’ creativity on environmental issues, while a Nest Making Activity highlighted the need to protect birds and biodiversity. The volunteers also participated in an Awareness Rally at Kheri Sampla that spread the message of environmental protection among the local community.
Adding cultural vibrancy to the programme, students presented poetry in English, Hindi, and Haryanvi along with soulful singing performances. Their enthusiastic participation reflected their concern for the environment and their commitment to social responsibility. Furthermore, an environment awareness rally was also initiated by Sh. Pardeep Kaushik and Principal madam.
The Principal, Dr. Santosh Hooda, appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers and emphasized that such camps not only spread awareness but also inculcate values of responsibility, unity, and service in students.
The camp concluded with a formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, faculty members, volunteers, and all participants for making the event a grand success.
