World Entrepreneurship Day ON 21st August 2025

Today, on 21st August 2025, on the occasion of "World Entrepreneurship Day", a special lecture and poster presentation program was organized by the Placement Cell at Sir Chhotu Ram Government Women's College, Sampla, Rohtak. On this occasion, Dr. Sangeeta Gupta, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Vaishya College, Rohtak, Miss Radhika and Mr. Amit, ICA Institute and Mr. Himanshu Mittal, Young Entrepreneur, Company Forwardworks were the keynote speakers. In her lecture, Dr. Sangeeta Gupta gave detailed information to the students on the opportunities in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, the challenges currently facing this sector and the possibilities of development.
Dr. Gupta inspired the students to become self-reliant, work towards startup with innovative thinking and take advantage of government schemes. Describing the MSME sector as a strong career option for the youth, he talked about contributing to the economic progress of the country through it. In her lecture, Miss Radhika gave detailed information to the students on various career options and development possibilities in the banking and construction sector. In his lecture, Mr. Himanshu Mittal told the students about the correct and ethical use of artificial intelligence as well as paying special attention to data security and privacy in its use. He told the students that artificial intelligence has emerged as the most important area of technological progress in today's era. It is not only accelerating industry and business but is also bringing revolutionary changes in education, health, agriculture, transport and government services. Mr. Mittal told that through AI based technology like machine learning, data analytics, robotics, the work system is becoming more fast, smart and efficient.
In the program, the students also participated enthusiastically in the poster competition, in which they presented various aspects related to entrepreneurship in a creative manner. The Principal of the college, Dr. Santosh Hooda, while expressing gratitude to the keynote speakers, inspired the students to actively participate in such events. All the members of the placement cell were present in this program.
