Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

In continuation of the nationwide campaign “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan”, the Anti-Drug Cell of Sir Chhotu Ram G.C.W Sampla organized a series of awareness activities to sensitize students about the ill effects of drug abuse and to promote a culture of health, discipline, and responsibility among youth. The programme was based on three major activities – Poster Making, Slogan Writing, and Essay Writing. 1. Poster Making Competition The poster making activity was held on the theme “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.” Students from different departments participated enthusiastically and prepared attractive and meaningful posters. Their artwork conveyed powerful messages against substance abuse, portraying the brighter side of a healthy, drug-free life. Slogan Writing Competition The slogan writing competition was conducted on the theme “Healthy Youth, Strong Nation.” Participants presented crisp, catchy, and impactful slogans highlighting the role of young people in building a progressive nation. Essay Writing Competition An essay writing competition was organized on the topic “Drug Abuse: A Threat to Society.” Students expressed their views on the increasing menace of drugs in society and its devastating effects on physical health, mental stability, family life, and social harmony. Conclusion The Anti-Drug Awareness Programme was a great success. It not only spread awareness but also motivated students to pledge for a drug-free life. Through posters, slogans, and essays, the participants conveyed the message that drug abuse is not just an individual problem but a serious social issue. The programme concluded with a collective resolution that students would act as ambassadors of change and contribute towards building a healthy youth and a strong nation.
