Anemia Detection Campaign

On May 6, 2025, Chhotu Ram Government College for Women, Rohtak, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Rohtak, successfully conducted an Anemia Detection Campaign for the students. The primary objective of this initiative was to identify anemia among students and raise awareness about maintaining good health.
A team of specialists conducted health screenings and hemoglobin tests for 175 students. Several students were advised on proper treatment and follow-up care based on their test results.
The campaign educated students about the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of anemia.
The college principal, Dr. Santosh Hooda, expressed gratitude to the CMO team and the Red Cross Society for their support. She emphasized the importance of such health-related programs for students and encouraged them to maintain a balanced diet and undergo regular health check-ups.
The program was effectively coordinated by Dr. Pritam Sheoran, In-charge of the Youth Red Cross, with the active participation of all committee members.
This campaign aimed to promote health awareness and empower students with knowledge about anemia prevention and management.
